Travel Doesn't Have To Be Flying Abroad! A series of activities for you to relax

It has been a while since not been able to travel abroad… Are you feeling dull and bored staying in HK? Are you tired of ordinary activities such as shopping and watching movies? Local tours can also be fun! Organized by Student Disability Support Services, Office of Student Affairs, let’s join the “Travel Doesn’t Have To Be Flying Abroad” activities series to get a taste of unique physical and mental trips.

(Cancelled) 1st event: Visual Impairment and Wheelchair Experiential Workshop @ CUHK 

If you lose your sight and become disabled one day, how will your feel? Here comes the chance to enter the world of people with visual impairment and wheelchair users~ Let’s have a special and meaningful trip with us!

(Cancelled) 2nd event: Visit New Life Farm

Walking into the New Life Farm, you have a chance to temporarily stay away from the unrestful city. During the trip, not only you will learn more about organic farm, social enterprise and self -make an organic herbal soap, but also let your mind leave for a while and rest.

Time：9:30am – 5:30pm
Venue： New Life Farm, Tuen Mun (Gather and dismiss at CUHK)
Target：All CUHK Students

Activities：Visit organic farm, eco-enzyme workshop, handmade organic herbal soap, educational lecture about social enterprise
Transportation & lunch : Round-trip shuttle bus between the University and New Life Farm and a set of light lunch will be provided.

Co-exist with SEN: A series of Online Workshops Opens for Registration!

Inclusion and equity are more than a slogan. Whether you are a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or staff of CUHK, you contribute to the inclusive environment with understanding. The Student Disability Support Services of OSA presents three online workshops with themes of #Co-exist, #Support and #WalkTogether in early April. We hope to enhance SEN awareness of the campus community that different parties in CUHK can get to know SEN from various perspectives.
