We are going to promote a mobile app called Smart City Walk in the campus. This app aims to facilitate students with SEN to go to the destinations independently using verbal instruction/ visual maps. In this workshop, speakers from the Hong Kong Blind Union (香港失明人協進會) will demonstrate how the app works as well as share effective ways of supporting people with visual impairment (VI). The details are listed below.

1. Understanding the needs and difficulties of people with VI
2. Sharing by students with VI on how technology facilitates their campus life
3. Demonstration of "Smart City Walk" mobile app at CUHK (an indoor navigation app)
