uShine Terrarium Workshop

 

 

A terrarium workshop organized by the uShine SEN Service Team will be held on 4 March.

 

 

A terrarium is an encapsulated eco-system where living plants, fresh mosses, rocks and other habitants live together within a seamless environment. In this workshop, you are going to learn how to create your very own mini garden and the techniques for maintaining it. All materials will be provided.

 

 

All CUHK students and staff members are welcome. It is a valuable opportunity for you to make new friends outside your department, your hostel or your ECA groups. You will be able to meet our SEN (special education needs) friends, know more about SEN and spend a relaxing and meaningful afternoon together.

CUHK walking with "you" x HKGDA - "Dark Knight, story of guide dogs"

 

Ushine SEN service team are going to organize "Dark Knight, story of guide dogs" workshop on 8 April 2016 . We are now inviting all CUHK students and staff to join us to experience something new!  

 

HKGDA provides professional training for those who are visually impaired, with autism or other physical disabilities to use guide dogs in the hope of improving their independence in daily life and raising their living quality. HoFFA wants to make HK a barrier free place for the disabled.

We are glad to invite HKGDA to CUHK. [At cultural square] EO Photo Competition - Winning Photos Exhibition

平等.共融攝影比賽得獎作品展覽

 

Earlier, we, the Equal Opportunities Commission & 9 other institutions co-organized a EO Photo Competition (平等.共融攝影比賽).  The goal is to encourage photo enthusiasts to show different aspects of inclusion & diversity in promoting equal opportunities. 

 

The competition has come to an end and the winning photos are now exhibited in the area outside Franklin canteen/ cultural square from April 8 to April 15.

Equal Opportunities Commission is organizing a slogan competition to promote the messages of racial equality, inclusion of persons with disabilities, gender equality and respect for persons with different family status.

 

Entry details:

  • In not more than 30 words, please write a slogan on racial equality, inclusion of persons with disabilities, gender equality and/or respect for persons with different family status.
  • The slogan can be written in either Chinese or English.
  • Each entrant may submit a maximum of 3 slogans.
