Tufting comes from an old embroidery technique - the tufting method. In this workshop, you will learn how to use the electric tufting gun, understand the tufting process and principles, and make your own unique work starting from scratch. Tufting is suitable for beginners, even for those without artistic instinct can get started easily.

1. Staff Sponsorship for SEN-related Training

This is a sponsorship for CUHK full-time staff to attend any external training related to SEN; each application may receive up to $2,000. Applications are accepted year-round. Please click here for details.

 

2. Inclusive Activity Fund

A funding of up to $6,000 per application is provided to support Colleges/ Departments/ Units/ Student Organizations and Groups in organizing activities that would promote CUHK members' awareness and understanding of SEN and/or facilitate students with SEN in the adaptation of campus life. In order to allow CUHK staff and students to better understand the characteristics and needs of university students with special educational needs (SEN), SEN Service (SENS) has launched a "Special Educational Needs Resource Kit".


The Resource Kit introduces the characteristics of different SEN types, skills in communicating with students with SEN, and information about inclusive teaching and learning.
