The Rehabus operates within the campus to facilitate students and staff with special needs in attending classes / going to offices and participating university-related activities, such as talks and extra-curricular activities organized by the University or student societies. The service requires advance reservation.

 

1. Service hours (excluding public holidays and special dates*) & eligibility:

 

a. Day service (Mon - Fri: 8:15am - 6:45pm; Sat: 8:15am - 1:15pm)


Eligibility (in the order of priority):

i.  Full-time students with permanent disabilities (priority will be given to undergraduate students)
ii.  Full-time students with temporary injuries as endorsed by the University Health Service (UHS)
iii. Part-time students with permanent disabilities (priority will be given to undergraduate students)
iv. Full-time/ part-time staff with permanent disabilities/ temporary injuries as endorsed by UHS

 

b. Evening service (Mon - Fri: 6:45pm - 8:45pm)


Eligibility (in the order of priority):

i.  Full-time students with permanent disabilities (priority will be given to undergraduate students)
ii.  Part-time students with permanent disabilities (priority will be given to undergraduate students)

 

* Special dates include Chinese New Year’s Eve, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

3. Booking procedure:


a.  Students/ staff with permanent disabilities:
 


1. First-time users must contact SEN Service for registration before booking.

2. Once registered, users may make the booking directly via completing the above form and sending it to the relevant office.

 

 

b. 

Students/ staff with temporary injuries:

 


1. Make an appointment with the University Healthy Service (UHS) at 3943 6439 to obtain endorsement for using the Rehabus service and bring along medical documents related to your injuries when attending the consulation session

2. If you have attended treatment outside UHS, please make an appointment with UHS and prepare relevant medical documents about your injuries. The physicians of UHS will decide whether you are eligible for the rehabus bus service. Please note that there are regulations applied to the service and it is subject to the availability of the Rehabus.
