All personal data submitted to the SEN Service is treated with utmost confidentiality, in accordance with the University’s Policy in Protection of Personal Data (Privacy) and the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. The information provided to SENS is strictly used for the purposes of processing students' registration with the SEN Service and arranging appropriate accommodations with relevant units of CUHK on a need-to-know basis and upon students' consent at the time of students' registration with SENS – meaning that the disclosure of students' SEN and associated accommodations is restricted to the course offering departments and instructors of courses that students are currently enrolled.
